May I transfer in general education courses from other colleges, or test out by taking an exam?
Yes, we will accept credits from any national or regionally accredited college or university for all general education courses. We also accept CLEP examinations. We accept up to 25 general education credit hours .
 
How often do classes begin?
We admit classes to both Level I and Level II each January, April, July and October.
 
Once I finish Level I and become an LPN can I automatically go on to Level II?

Students who finish the level I can decide whether or not to sit for the NCLEX PN exam or they may just proceed to Level II.

 
If I received my LPN at a different school can I attend Hondros College to receive my ADN?
Yes, you may begin at Level II provided you meet admission requirements.
 
What are the tuition and other expenses?

Tuition is $185 per credit hour, plus lab fees. Books, uniforms, liability insurance, health insurance, and CPR training are additional expenses.

 
What kind of income can I look forward to?
LPNs generally start at $16 to $20 per hour, and ADNs at $40,000 to $54,000 per year.
 
Can I transfer my Hondros College School of Nursing credits to another school to get my bachelors degree?
We have articulation agreements with some 4-year BSN colleges so that our students can make a seamless transition to additional education.  Please speak with an admissions representative for details and to get more specific information.
 
Is your program accredited?

Hondros College is accredited by the Accrediting Council of Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS) and approved by the State Board of Career College & Schools as well as the Ohio Board of Nursing (OBN).  

ACICS is listed as a nationally recognized accrediting agency by the United States Department of Education and is recognized by the Council for Higher Education
